It is very safe, I can assure you. There is a push button and twist mechanism so it’s not something a child could operate. Also, I think someone, such as a guest, would need to be shown how to work it the first time so that eliminates the risk of any accidental usage – plus, surely guests shouldn’t be brewing up for themselves – ha ha!

Wow, that looks a bit dangerous! Imagine if a guest or child operated that and got scalded, unaware that it produces boiling water? Also, I’m sure it is just for illustrative purposes, but I wouldn’t put an electric socket directly under a sink, lol.

That is the best idea ever. My pet peeve is waiting for the kettle to boil so I can fill up my hot water bottle, especially when I’m freezing cold, it seems to take forever!
