This week Adamson’s ventured across the Pennines and visted the Daval Furniture showroom at their factory in West Yorkshire. Daval are our manufacturers for bedroom furniture and they offer a truly unique service where the furniture can be tailored to the customer’s and the room requirements. They can make wardrobes up to a whopping 2.7m high if needed – that’s a lot of storage for clothes!
Whilst there Simon Bodsworth, the marketing manager at Daval, ran through some emerging trends for the next 18 months, and Authenticity was a key theme. He showcased some interesting new wood finishes, with deep veining, knots, texture, some were almost like drift wood. Colours were still themed around the browns/ greys, with Stone and Mocha coming through as dominant colours, Stone in particular worked well with all the new wood finishes that were presented.
